What this policy covers

This policy applies to the website skillflow.dk. It does not cover the Skillflow platform itself.

When a company uses the platform, we process the employees' data on the company's behalf. That processing is described in the data processing agreement we enter into with the company. If you are an employee of one of our customers, your employer is the data controller.

When you visit the website

We count visits to see which pages are being used. The statistics are cookie-free. We do not store your IP address, and we do not attempt to recognize you across visits.

Raw visit data is deleted after 7 days. After that, we only keep aggregated figures, for example the number of views per page per day.

The website is delivered via Cloudflare, which protects against attacks and makes the pages fast. Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical information about your browser when the page is loaded.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and usable website (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)).

When you contact us

If you write to us via a form or email, we process the information you provide yourself: typically your name, email, company, and your message.

We use the information to respond to you and to follow up on your inquiry, for example if you want to see a demo.

The legal basis is your consent or our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Article 6(1)(a) or (f)). Inquiries submitted via the contact form are deleted after 6 months, unless they lead to a business relationship.

When you sign up for our newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter, we use your email address to send you new guides, templates, and webinars.

You will only receive the newsletter once you have confirmed your subscription via a link in an email. We keep documentation of your consent, and in that connection your email and IP address are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form.

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can always unsubscribe via the link in the newsletter. We will then stop sending to you.

Cookies

The website does not use cookies for statistics or marketing. Cookies are only set when they are necessary for a function to work, for example when one of our employees logs in to edit the site.

Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We use suppliers who process data on our behalf, for example for hosting, delivery of the website, and sending the newsletter. They may only use the data according to our instructions and have entered into a data processing agreement with us.

If data is processed outside the EU and the EEA, we ensure a lawful basis for the transfer, for example the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the data we process about you
  • have incorrect data corrected
  • have your data deleted
  • have the processing restricted
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest
  • receive your data in a commonly used format (data portability)
  • withdraw your consent. This does not affect the processing that took place before you withdrew it

Write to hello@skillflow.dk if you want to exercise your rights. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our processing of your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, www.datatilsynet.dk. We would appreciate the opportunity to help you first, so please feel free to write to us.

Changes

We update this policy when we change how we process data. The latest version is always available on this page.
