Corporate academy

A corporate academy is a company's own, unified training of employees, often with set programs for roles and levels.

A corporate academy gathers internal training under one name. It can cover anything from onboarding and leadership training to professional programs for specific roles. It is also known as a company academy or corporate university.

The advantage is overview and direction. Employees can see which programs exist, and leadership can see that the training is aligned with the strategy.

An academy does not have to be big. Many start with a few programs, for example for new employees and new managers, and build on them as needs appear.
